How it all began

Work on our forest cabin is finished and we're really proud of the result! It gives us an excellent base, and we couldn't wait to welcome our first Forest Schoolers.

Before we opened, we spent the autumn preparing the woodland. The children often kept themselves busy with typical Forest School activities like making clay faces, climbing trees and making their own swings and seesaws from what they found in the woods.

Little Sticks is certainly a family business! We all worked hard to turn the shipping container into an inviting place where the children can come to relax. It also houses composting toilets, a kitchen and a storage area.
