Fees, funding & term dates
Clear prices, funded places for 2-, 3- and 4-year-olds, and open 50 weeks of the year.
Fees
Please note: we review our fees every September and session prices may increase.
Sessions
We offer full-day sessions (8.00am to 5.00pm) and half-day sessions (mornings 8.00am to 12.30pm, afternoons 12.30pm to 5.00pm), five days a week, Monday to Friday.
Our session prices from September 2026
All sessions are charged at £6.50 per hour, plus a Forest School session fee of £3.25 for half days and £6.50 for full days. The Forest School session fee is already included in the prices above.
The Forest School session fee
The Forest School session fee is a charge for providing Forest School as an additional service on top of the standard EYFS curriculum. It covers low staff-to-child ratios (specifically for Forest School activities), the additional cost of making sure all our staff are qualified to deliver Forest School sessions, snacks and drinks, insurance for outdoor and adventurous activities, and additional consumables, plus spare clothing and outdoor kit kept on site for Forest School activities.
For children receiving 2-year-old funded hours, the funding we receive covers both the hourly rate and the Forest School session fee, so we do not charge the Forest School session fee as an extra.
For children receiving 3- and 4-year-old funded hours, the rate set and paid by the Government and local council is significantly lower than for 2-year-old funding and is mainly for providing the EYFS curriculum. For this reason, we charge the Forest School session fee as an extra.
The Forest School session fee for 3- and 4-year-old funded hours is voluntary. You can opt out of paying it, but you would then need to provide your child's own drinks, snacks and consumables, and some activities that are specific to Forest School may not be available to your child.
If you use 3- and 4-year-old funding but don't feel you can afford the Forest School session fee, or would prefer not to pay for the additional Forest School activities, please contact us to talk through your options.
All fees are invoiced monthly in advance. We annualise the session costs, so you pay a set monthly amount to cover the sessions from September through to August.
Funding
We offer all types of funded places, including 2-, 3- and 4-year-old funding (15 and 30 hours), Tax-Free Childcare and childcare vouchers. You can also split your funding if your child attends another setting.
We are registered to take children from 2 years old. We can claim funding from the day your child turns 2, provided you have a valid funding code from the start of the term in which they turn 2.
To check what funding may be available to you, please visit the Best Start in Life website.
