Exciting News!
We have two sites either side of Wigan in Aspull and Billinge. At both sites we have our own dedicated woodland area which is such a special place for children to learn and play.
We have recently added new indoor heated cabins across both our Aspull and Greenslate Farm sites which helps the children stay warm and dry in really wet and cold conditions.
We still have some availability at both sites for September 2026 onwards but we are filling spaces quickly

Welcome to
Little Sticks Forest School
We are an "Outstanding" Ofsted rated, fully outdoor Forest School open since April 2021. We cater for children aged 24 months and upwards. We now have 2 sites, Little Sticks Aspull is located on the grounds of Aspull Rugby Club close to both Wigan, Bolton and surrounding areas.
Little Sticks Greenslate is now open and set on the grounds of Greenslate Community Farm in Billinge .

Opening Hours:
Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm
We are open 50 weeks per year and only close for all Bank Holidays and for 2 weeks
over the Christmas holidays. See our holiday dates on the About page for more information
Funding:
We offer places for all types of funding including 2 year old funding (15 and 30 hrs),
3/4 year old funding (15 and 30 hrs) and Tax Free Child Care. We can claim funding from
the day a child turns 2 as long as you have a valid funding code from the start of the
term that your child turns 2
